the subject matter for this is very tramatic and almost haunting.
I got to go to the SFMOMA the other day(sanfransisco museum of modern art)
there was a featured gallery in there of Wangechi Mutu's works. Among those..she had set up one room with three chairs on stilts..above were hanging bottles of wine...the chairs were clean, but on the floor there was wine splatterd every where. (something like this..could not find photo's of the chairs [link] )
the story behind her art is very traumatic to read..
any how..this is my own interpretation of it.
i may do more stilt stuff later...maybe.
There was also one of Dali's pieces there, so i got some idea's.
those legs...i wish i was able to draw something so inventive like this...and i wish i was able to draw ''monsters'' like that...>>
so nice...and modern art is so cool : ) i went to a museum myself the other day and im supposed to return there again wednesday XD i like it so much.... the artist's name is Anselm Keifer and his art is amazing...the canvas was like 3 meters of height and 6 meters of weight >> it was so huge!! and he liked to play with metal pieces and sunflowers (huge ones) ...its so cool... there's one piece of his that is like...a big metal book with wings....it looks so awesome! i found books of him, maybe i oculd scan some of them and show you! im sure you'd be interrested XD;;;
